Furomic 20 ml
Indications:
Furosemide is used for its rapid action and potency in all species. For the treatment of edema such as post-traumatic, post-surgical, lung, associated with liver disease, congestive heart failure, kidney failure, etc. Small animals, indicated in the treatment of congestive cardiomyopathies, edema, uremia, as part of therapy in cases of hyperkalemia and occasionally as a hypotensive agent. In cattle for the treatment of udder edema. Helps prevent or reduce epistaxis (exercise-induced pulmonary hemorrhage) in racehorses.
Dose:
The recommended dosage is as follows:
Canines and felines: 2.5 mg to 5 mg of Furosemide per kg of live weight, equivalent to 0.05 ml – 0.1 ml/kg of body weight. To facilitate the calculation of the dose, 0.5 to 1 ml of Furomic every 10 kg of weight, 2 times/day, with intervals of 6 to eight hours.
Cattle and horses: 0.5 mg to 1 mg of furosemide per kg of weight equivalent to 0.01 to 0.02 ml/kg. Every 500 kg of weight, 5 to 10 ml of Furomic, 1 to 2 times per day. In cows with postpartum edema, do not administer more than two days in a row.
